Recycling & Environmental

Thergis logo arrow
As a family owned and managed business, we are committed to ensuring the sustainability of our business and minimising our environmental impact through a range of initiatives:
  • We continue to work hard to ensure our products come from sustainable sources and can be recycled
  • To help minimise packaging waste we can supply our gel and water packs in reusable trays for larger volume orders and encourage customers to consider this option.
  • We’ve been working on a research and innovation project with the University of Nottingham, based on bio-based packaging and insulation materials and their potential for temperature-controlled product distribution
  • We’re committed to continuing to expand our eco product range to bring the best options to our customers

We manufacture and supply gel packs, water packs and thermal packaging solutions for the transport and delivery of temperature-sensitive goods.

Our gel packs contain a non-toxic salt solution, so we wouldn’t advise using them in this way.  The best way to dispose of the contents is to pour it down the drain with some hot tap water.
